Videoblogging – The Upcoming Internet Craze

Ok, so at this point everyone knows such a blog is and a lot of folks run and manage a blog of our own own. But have you heard of an vlog? If not, don’t worry about it, it’s something that has been in existence for just one full year. A vlog, or video blog, is often a weblog which uses video since its primary presentation format. It is primarily a medium for distributing video content. Vlog posts are often accompanied by text, images, and other meta data to provide a context or overview for that video. Vlogs or videoblogs are manufactured by vloggers or videobloggers, as the act itself is referred to as vlogging or videoblogging.

So as you can view, it’s a branch from your site but rather than writing content like I’m doing now, users present their information through some sort of video format. This latest version of blogging is intriguing to many people because users still find it more interesting than reading through pages of content. They might rather spend Ten mins watching a video of someone as opposed to read an article. I myself like both blogs and vlogs. In my experience it depends on the stock market which is being depicted. In the event the topic is how you can bake chocolate chip cookies (mmmm), then I’d rather see a vblog someone actually making the cookies and talking me through it. However, if it’s an interest about how Google just launched their new news archive search, i quickly would rather read a blog then have to watch and listen to someone discuss it for 10 mins.
If you’re interested in making your own personal vlog, then Freevlog.org explains the best way to videoblog free of charge and Feevlog.org explains how you can videoblog for a fee. Also, Typepad.com and Blip.tv are pretty straight forward turnkey ways of consider. If you’re thinking about watching and commenting on other people’s vlog works, you’ll be able to enroll in FireAnt.com or Mefeedia.com.
I’m very interested to find out where vlogging takes us. I’m quite sure over the following year or two we will see a number of vlogs become famous due to their content. We’ve seen it happen with blogging. Many sites for example Fark, TechCrunch, BoingBoing, Gizmodo, and PopSugar already are or on course to make millions of dollars through their blogs. It’s a new advertising medium for companies and vlogging now adds the latest sphere (vlogosphere) to this element.
